My Story
Flying has always fascinated me. What started as an interest in aviation grew into the goal of becoming a professional pilot. After earning my Private Pilot Licence, I decided to continue my journey by working toward the Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Roger Aviation is where I document that journey—sharing my experiences, challenges, achievements, and everything I learn along the way.

My Aviation Journey
From a first discovery flight to working towards a professional career in aviation.
✈️ August 2016 — First Discovery Flight
The flight that sparked my passion for aviation and planted the idea of becoming a pilot.
🎓 July 2024 — Started PPL Training
Began my practical flight training at Twente Airport and took the first serious step towards becoming a licensed pilot.
🛩️ July 2025 — Private Pilot Licence
Successfully passed my skills test and earned my Private Pilot Licence.
🌙 January–March 2026 — Night Rating
Expanded my flying experience with night operations and completed the Night Rating (NVFR).
📚 May 2026 — ATPL Theory Preparation
Started studying the ATPL course books in preparation for the formal Orbit Groundschool programme.
🧭 Today — Building Experience
Continuing to build flight hours, explore new destinations and develop my skills through local flights, international trips and new flying experiences.
